Network Operations Engineer
We are looking for a NetOps Engineer to strengthen one of our teams.
Responsibilities:
- Designing the architecture, deploying, and operating the data transmission network;
- Configuring servers and active network equipment;
- Optimizing network performance;
- Developing and maintaining the network monitoring infrastructure;
- Automating network provisioning.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with configuring dynamic routing based on the BGP protocol (iBGP, MP-BGP, eBGP);
- Experience working with and configuring routing policies in FRRouting, GoBGP, and Bird;
- Experience deploying and operating geographically distributed networks based on EVPN/VXLAN, WireGuard tunnels, and other L2/L3 VPNs;
- Strong troubleshooting skills across all layers of the network (server, data center, global Internet);
- Experience configuring networks in Linux; solid skills in tuning and optimizing Linux network stack performance;
- Understanding of network segmentation principles; experience deploying isolated environments; hands-on experience with iptables/nftables/ferm;
- Skills in network provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.
Nice to Have:
- Experience operating networks in Docker, Nomad, and Kubernetes;
- Configuring network monitoring (Zabbix, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, AlertManager, LibreNMS);
- Experience deploying and operating private networks in data centers of hosting providers such as AWS, OVH, Datapacket, Hetzner, GCP, Alibaba, etc.;
- Knowledge and understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF and PIM;
- Experience configuring and deploying remote VPN solutions (OpenVPN, SSL VPN);
- Experience working with Cisco Nexus hardware switches.
